Paul Becque (pronounced Beck) was born in Dover, England. He has been a professional entertainer since the age of 14, performing in London and repertory theatre before turning his hand to mime. He joined Costa cruise line in 1986 and began cruising the Caribbean. Two years later he was appointed Cruise Director, which launched his love affair with the sea. In 1993 Beqster moved to Los Angeles, studying for 2 years at the American Academy of Dramatic Art and then producing shows for himself and Universal Studios. Beqster returned to the cruise ships in 1997, and took his career to a new level by choosing new and longer itineraries. The length of his cruises increased from 7-days to 14-days, 28-days and a 60-day circumnavigation of South America. During this time of exploration, Beqster cruised the Caribbean, Alaska, Central and South America, the Far East, Black Sea, Red Sea, the Panama and Suez Canals. In 2001 Beqster joined the Sun Cruises' Seawing and Cupids arrows were swift and sudden. They descended deep into the heart of Beqster and his emotional destiny with Belle was set in motion. The summer was filled with infatuation, affection, passion, devotion, and obsession. The friendship culminated with a lunch in Istanbul, when Belle and Beqster had to determine the reality of their quixotic romance. Beqster was head-hunted by Cunard Cruise Line, and in 2003, he joined their Team, where he enjoyed a summer aboard the world's most famous ocean liner, Queen Elizabeth 2. On his third voyage, Beqster achieved the highest scores the company had ever seen for the Entertainment Department. This was the very same cruise which reunited Belle and Beqster, and they sailed to Norwary's "Land of the Midnight Sun". Because of his successes aboard the QE2, in January 2004, he became the Cruise Director aboard Cunards' Queen Mary 2, the worlds longest, tallest, widest and largest state-of-the-art cruising vessel. It was here that Paul achieved the pinnacle of his career at sea, working with the finest equipment and entertainers in the industry. After two successful contracts aboard this vessel, Beqster took the opportunity to retire from sea, and came ashore to pursue a career in television. Success in this new arena would also create a solid platform for Belle and Beqster's marriage and consequent life on land. April 2005 marked the first success in his new career, when Paul became the Cruise Expert with Sky Travel, sharing his sea-going knowledge and experiences. Shortly afterwards he appreared in an ad for NTL and in October 2005, Paul was awarded a contract as an auctioneer for Bid.tv where he provided 15 hours of live television each week, for two years. When Belle first encountered Beqster, he was a diamond in the rough. His wild side and lack of grooming would often spill out spontaneously, and Belle knew that she needed to bring his deep-seated passions under control if their relationship was going to be meaningful. So she engaged the world-renowned solicitors, Markster and Markster, to scribe a contract with 6 major arrangements: Language; swearing was prohibited and a monetary fine for such activities has been established. Kissing; exchanging saliva is restricted to Helly Belle, and instant dismissal is the consequence for failing to comply. Appearance; Beqster has to shave once a day, always wear his own name badge and make sure that no trace of glitter is ever visible on his uniform. Exercise; a strict fitness regime has been put in place to ensure that Beqster losses weight and develops a six-pack. Waiter Service; breakfast, including croissants and peaches, is to be delivered to Belle's cabin as often as possible, so she may dine in bed. Conduct with family members prohibits conversations including rude jokes, sex, religion and Elvis. "Cats-eyes" are strictly forbidden. These terms and conditions have not been easy for Beqster to adhere to, but his love for Belle is so deep that he committed himself 1,000 percent... and has only screwed up a few times! (cats-eyes in a restaurant, an Elvis joke, and a conversation with Daddy Dews on life-after-death). However, Belle considered this breach of contract to be minimal, and Beqster was given a waiver! The contract has not been revised and is still legally binding. It is currently in the United Kingdom, stored in a vault, which has been ingeniously disguised as a "Hot and Spicy" Pringles tube. By communicating honestly on deeper and deeper levels, Beqster and Belle are building a bond that unites their hearts and minds. No matter the distance, they increasingly treasure the loving energy that flows between them every day. They deeply want each other to enjoy high self-esteem and self-confidence, and encourage one another to enjoy life to the fullest, despite being on opposite side of the globe. They are enriching their relationship by including each other in a sense of self, and by sharing their individual successes as one. This, dear reader, is unconditional love.
