Like all good weddings, this event was an opportunity for friends and family to come together even if they haven’t seen each other for some time. Belle and Beqster were overwhelmed by the number of people that wanted to attend, and the distance they were prepared to travel. They came from far and wide, including several parts of the US, Latvia, Austria and even Australia! Eventually, after much deliberation... they decided to keep the wedding ceremony and breakfast to sixty very close friends and family. And by doing so, they were able to enjoy the use of Coughton Court’s stately rooms as opposed to being in a marque on the lawn. In the evening, a further sixty friends, work colleagues and ol’ ship mates joined the celebrations.

Belle comes from a culmination of Dutch Dews and Mancunian Greenoughs, whilst Beqster is a combination of French Becques and Scottish McCluskeys... don’t remind me that the spelling of that surname is steaped in Irish heritage... coz Pop McCluskey will go bananas... and you don’t want to see that Glaswegian blood boil!
